Experience of the stay
We enjoyed Disney Sea until it closed at 9 PM and then took the hotel shuttle bus to Hoshino Resort! The directions to the bus stop were thoroughly explained on the Hoshino Resort official website, so we had no trouble finding it. (I walked slowly, pushing the stroller to avoid getting lost, and it took less than 10 minutes from the Disney Sea entrance (south side). Perhaps because it was the last bus, the bus was crowded, with a few people standing. We arrived at the bus stop 10 minutes before departure and were able to sit just in time. The ride from Disney Sea took about 20 minutes, so being able to sit was a great relief..! Check-in is on the second floor, so we took the elevator from the lobby. There is an escalator between the first and second floors, so those without strollers might find it smoother to use the escalator. The room was a twin and very spacious, and it was very comfortable to stay because no shoes were allowed. There was a bathtub and makeup remover, and it helped relieve the fatigue from Disney. I did laundry at the second-floor coin laundry (10 washing machines and dryers each. Payment was made with a credit card due to being cashless.), and bought contact lens supplies at the Lawson on the first floor, which was very convenient. Check-out was simple, just dropping the card key into a post box (cute yellow one!), but it was set up on both the first and second floors, making it smooth for those using the bus to utilize the first-floor post box. I went down to the second floor from the guest room level to drop off the key, then had to wait for the elevator to go back down to the first floor, which resulted in a time loss. The access from Disney was excellent, and I made wonderful memories! Next time, I’d like to try the Food & Drink Station (open 24 hours) and the 2nd room.
Experiences during the trip
After checking out at 11 AM, we headed to Trampoland, which is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel! There were lots of trampolines, and my 3-year-old daughter had a great time bouncing in the toddler area. We played for a full 90 minutes. After that, we took the hotel shuttle bus to Shinuayasu Station and headed home. I was grateful that the bus driver was kind and helped us with getting the stroller on and off the bus.
