We headed to Shin-Osaka via the Shinkansen, and after some lunch, checked into the hotel without any hassle. After a brief rest, we were all set for the much-anticipated LIVE! It took us about 15 minutes by train to reach Kyocera Dome, where we truly immersed ourselves in the atmosphere and excitement of the venue.
After the LIVE, we savored the famous okonomiyaki in Dotonbori. Although it was late at night, the hotel was within walking distance, allowing us to return leisurely and safely.
Day 2
This day was dedicated to food walking in Dotonbori, which the kids especially looked forward to! We strolled through the shopping district, trying an array of Osaka's specialties such as takoyaki, udon, pork buns from 551 Horai, and Rikuro Ojisan's cheesecake, leaving us all very satisfied.
After taking a break at the hotel, we headed to Shinsekai in the evening. We enjoyed the well-known kushikatsu to our hearts' content. The distances were all manageable by train or on foot, so the kids never got too tired and spent the day with smiles all around.

The climax of our trip was finally here as we set out for the Expo. After a few transfers, we arrived at Yumeshima Station in about 30 minutes. Entering through the East Gate, we got to explore more pavilions than we had expected, thoroughly enjoying our time. Among them, the Power Pavilion had same-day reservations available, allowing us to enter and have a wonderful experience.
After fully enjoying the Expo until night, we returned to the hotel to pick up our bags. We showered at Namba station next door and enjoyed kushikatsu for our final dinner before taking the night bus back home.
