Awara Onsen in Fukui opened in the 16th year of the Meiji era.
At that time, the name was "Juraku Onsen", and it became widely known throughout the country as a high-quality natural hot spring with an abundant amount of hot water.

The "Kaze no Onsen Village Juraku", which is poured by four private springs on the premises, has a variety of bathtubs such as a garden open-air bath, a cypress bath, and a pottery bath, and the "Kimori Yang no Yu" with a modern atmosphere using plenty of natural stone and cypress, and the carbonated spring and silk bath in the women's public bath are all introduced for the first time in Awara Onsen.

■ About hot springs
- One of the largest garden open-air baths in Hokuriku -
・Hanami bath 〈Female〉
A hanami bath with a flower bed in front of the open-air bath. Please take a relaxing bath while looking at the flowers of the four seasons.

・Pottery bath 〈Female/Male〉
There are three pottery baths fired in a large Shigaraki kiln for the men's bath and two for the women's bath. Each one has a different color and shape, so why not compare the comfort of soaking? When you get into the bathtub, the flowing water makes you feel very luxurious.

・Octagonal stool bath 〈Male〉
It is a bath with a depth of about 90 cm. The spotlight is on the hot water that comes out of the central pillar in all directions, which is fantastic. It is deeper than a normal bath, so please be careful when bathing children.

- Indoor bath -
Indoor bath with sauna. In the men's indoor bath "Yumeden", the four seasons are depicted on Shigaraki ceramic plates. In addition, we do not provide water baths for safety reasons. Thank you for your understanding.

- 2 types of private tatami baths -
The hotel's private baths "Sekiri" and "Shirasagi" are tatami mat baths. Perhaps it was winter, but the tatami bath was soft to the touch and gentle. It is soft to the touch, and it doesn't hurt or cold when you sit down directly. Even people with weak legs and disabilities can use it.

-Footbath Fu-Fu-Fu-
A foot bath that can be used by both men and women. The foot bath you can take while looking at the bamboo forest will slowly heal the fatigue of your trip. Please enjoy the time that flows slowly while chatting with friends and family.
