2024年11月に宿泊。
初めての函館旅行なので事前に調べて観光スポット17か所、飲食店6か所を巡りました。
宿泊して感じたオススメポイントは３つ。
① 温泉
② OMOベース

① 温泉
大浴場には塩化ナトリウム天然温泉があり、源泉かけ流しだそうです。
季節によって減温するため加水するみたいなので、温泉の効能を高めるなら冬に利用するのが良いようです。
内湯には温泉と普通のお風呂（温水）、ドライサウナとスチームサウナ、水風呂があります。
外には露天風呂、壺湯があります。
濁りのある温泉は初めてだったので良い体験でした(^^)
大浴場前にタオル置き場があるので客室から持っていく必要もないですし、何回でも利用できます。
私は宿泊中に１０回以上入りましたが、全然飽きなかったです！
お風呂上りに無料で飲めるコーン茶も美味しくてオススメです。
② ラウンジスペース
今まで宿泊したOMO５の中では広さがあり、テーブルやイスの種類もバラエティーに富んでいました。
お風呂上りにハンモックみたいなイスに揺られるのも気持ちがよかったです。
家族や仲間と集まって話すのにも適したボックス席や円卓もあるので、複数人でも一人でもくつろげる場所です。
OMOカフェがあるので小腹が空いたときや飲みたいときにも便利です。
テラスにはファイヤーピットがあり、夜17時以降は火がつきます。
函館の冬は寒いので、この火だけで暖かいと感じるには無理がありますが、お風呂上りに利用してみるのも良いかと思います。
なお、ルームキーでエレベーターに乗らないと入れないフロアにあるので宿泊者限定スペースなのも良きです。

③ 交通の利便性
ホテルから徒歩5分圏内に路面電車の函館前駅、JR函館駅、バスターミナルがあります。
また宿泊者限定で利用できる周遊バスもあります。
時間帯によって走行するルートが決まっているので行きたい観光エリアに合わせて予約する必要がります。

客室はシンプルながら必要なものは揃っていると思います。
他のOMOと違うのは、客室に入ってルームキーを差し込まないと照明や電化製品が使用できないので注意が必要です。
ビジネスホテルに泊まり慣れている人は気にしないかと思いますが(^^;
ツインルームではスーツケースを広げるスペースがないので、ベッドの上に乗せる必要がありそうです。
全てのお部屋ではないと思いますが、浴槽が無くシャワーブースのみのお部屋でした。
温泉があるし、客室風呂を利用する必要はないと思いますが、気になる人がいるかもしれないので記載しておきます。
別途、朝食料金を支払えばモーニングビュッフェをつけられます。
※当日の混雑状況によっては購入できない場合もあるそうです。
自分で盛り付ける海鮮丼、塩ラーメン、お寿司、イカ飯などがビュッフェ形式で食べられます。
なお、スパークリングワインも飲み放題です。
