I also love the NOHGA hotel in Tokyo (located in Akihabara and Ueno), and since it is part of the same chain, I decided to stay here during my trip to Kyoto. The atmosphere is fantastic, and out of all the properties in this chain, this one in Kyoto has become my favorite. In addition to the rooftop, the restaurant and the bakery on the first floor are also delicious. The area is quiet, especially at night (which means there are fewer dining options compared to Kawaramachi), and the stylish atmosphere was very nice. I had a fantastic experience.
