Experience of the stay
We stayed as a family of five: two adults, one elementary school student, and two preschoolers. Since we used public transportation, it took some time to walk from the bus stop, but the hotel was so lovely that I definitely want to go back! I forgot to mention the kids when I made the reservation, but on the day of arrival, they promptly prepared the bedding for the children without any complaints, and I just paid the children's fee on the spot. We received cute tumblers for snacks and juice, allowing unlimited drinks and snacks. Since we chose the room-only option, we had our meals at a soba restaurant about three bus stops away from the hotel. There’s a Lawson nearby too, so you can buy something and bring it back! The meals at the hotel were also wonderful! The layout of the room allowed the kids to watch TV from the open-air bath, and they were all thrilled! The adults were also able to relax and enjoy it as well! The courtyard in the center of the hotel felt great both in the morning and at night, although my 3-year-old did bump into the glass and made a little bump on his head (laughs). The stylish layout also provided a space where they could run around, which was a great help for three boys. I absolutely want to go again!
Experiences during the trip
At the time of my visit, the ropeway was under construction and couldn't be used, so I had to think a bit about how to get there, but it was a wonderful 2-day trip full of walking around pirate ships and Hakone Shrine! While the bath in my room might not have been a hot spring, I’m glad that I could fulfill my wish to relax in an onsen with my mother. I also peeked at the large public bath, and it looked really nice!
