Experience of the stay
I stayed at the popular hotel 'OMO7 Osaka by Hoshino Resorts' at HafH. This was my second stay; last time I stayed in a standard room, and this time I tried the king room.
I used the JR to get to the hotel, and after getting off at JR Shin-Imamiya Station, I walked to the hotel. It took less than 10 minutes on foot from the station.
Check-in and check-out were smooth through an automated machine. There was always staff nearby, so it felt safe. There is also a locker exclusively for hotel users, making it easy to store luggage before and after check-in.
Upon entering the room, the wall with the 'OSAKA board' (MAP) caught my eye, and I could enjoy the view from the wide window. The floor is tatami, allowing you to relax after taking off your shoes.
The bed was a 200 cm wide king bed, spacious enough for two. I slept very well.
The bathroom and toilet are separate, and it feels very clean. The washbasin is independent within the room. There is no dressing room, so you'll need to change clothes in front of the room or bathroom.
You can take home the original pineapple candy placed in the room, along with a brochure introducing Hoshino Resorts' accommodation facilities.
An event called 'PIKAPIKA NIGHT' was held. While illuminated by fugu lanterns, I enjoyed fugu soup oden and takoyaki and craft beer from the neighbors. The fireworks launched at the building's exterior membrane were lovely as well.
Although I did not use it this time, there is also a bathhouse within the facility. After using the bathhouse, guests can enjoy events on the terrace deck.
For breakfast, I had 'Okan Croque', a croque monsieur topped with thick omelet, at 'OMO Cafe & Bar'. I highly recommend trying it during your stay.
When traveling in Osaka, I would definitely want to stay here again. I believe it's an enjoyable accommodation option for everyone, from solo travelers to friends, couples, and families. For locals and those traveling to Osaka, I encourage you to stay here.
Experiences during the trip
New World was close to the hotel, and I enjoyed takoyaki and kushikatsu.
After check-in, I visited a ramen shop I was curious about.
