Experience of the stay
In September 2025, we stayed as a family of three (2 adults + 1 preschooler). Having used Hafh last year and had a great experience, this was our second stay! We were also happy that breakfast was included ☺️
◎ Guest Room
There are various types of guest rooms, and they are assigned randomly.
Last year, we had a room at the far end of the property with a nice view of a golf course and a type that had a jacuzzi outside on the balcony separate from the bathroom inside.
We hoped to get the same room this year, but unfortunately, this time we got the type located in the middle of the property, and had only one bathroom.
However, the space was sufficient, the atmosphere was nice, and while the hotel itself has some age, it adds to the resort feel, which was lovely 🏝️
The property is large, so the dedicated carts are convenient for getting around. This is really fun! Riding around the resort in the wind increases the sense of being in a different world! Just moving around feels like enjoying an attraction, which elevates the mood ✨
◎ Food
Delighted that breakfast was included ✨
There was a wide variety, and it was fun to decide what to eat. There were choices from both Japanese and Western cuisines, so every family member could choose what they liked. They even had baby food available. I held back during my pregnancy, but the tuna bowl with sea grapes looked really tasty!!
◎ Pool and Sea
Just a bit down from the hotel is the pool, and the sea is right in front too! The ability to enjoy both means that we could change our plans depending on how we felt that day.
Surrounded by nature, we thoroughly enjoyed both relaxing time and active play.
Kanuja Bay Hotel isn’t just a place to stay, but a place where "the stay itself becomes a resort experience." It’s perfect for creating special memories in Okinawa!!
Experiences during the trip
Off to the talk of the town, the Jungle land!
Visited on a Sunday in September.
I was worried if it would be enjoyable for my 3-year-old and my pregnant wife, but there were parasols available, and we were able to take breaks while cooling off at the shops, so the heat was not as tough as I expected.
Used a rental car and made a parking reservation (2000 yen). It was really close from the parking area to the entrance!
Since my wife is pregnant and we have a 3-year-old, our options for attractions were limited, but we were more than satisfied with just three: Tam Tam Tram, Yanbaru Friends, and Finding Dinosaur 🦖
Just in case, I bought a premium pass, but the waiting times for Finding Dinosaur and Yanbaru Friends were around 20 minutes, so we might not have needed it? (⚠️ I think it depends on the season)
I thought we wouldn’t get into the Panorama Dining Nest, which is usually really crowded, but after waiting for about 30 minutes, we were lucky enough to get in! The Nest has a separate fee of 2,000 yen. It was too hot, so we quickly left, but I was able to take photos and enjoy some delicious desserts, which made me very happy ✨
My 3-year-old seemed to enjoy Finding Dinosaur a lot, and keeps talking about it with joy even after returning home 🦖 I’m glad we went!
