Special handling for JAL domestic flight tickets

The airline has announced a special policy regarding domestic airline tickets in response to the situation that occurred on January 2, 2024. Therefore, we will handle changes and cancellations for our JAL domestic airline tickets without any fees. If you wish to make changes or cancellations, please follow the procedure below and complete it by the specified dates.

[Eligible Customers]

Customers who have made reservations for JAL domestic airline tickets through HafH for flights between January 4, 2024 (Thursday) and March 31, 2024 (Sunday)

[Procedure Deadlines]

Please check ① and ② below.

Please check the deadline for each numbered item of the desired content mentioned in the [Procedure Methods] below.

・Applicable to: (1), (3)
Please complete the procedure by January 31, 2024 (Wednesday) 23:59.
・Applicable to: (2), (4),(5), (6)
Please complete the procedure by January 24, 2024 (Wednesday) 23:59.

If the scheduled departure time of the applicable reserved flight is earlier than ①, the deadline for the procedure will be “30 minutes before the scheduled departure time of the applicable reserved flight.” Please complete the procedure (including confirmation of changes or cancellations) by then.

*For (4), the target deadline has been updated (as of 10:10 on January 5th)

[Procedure Methods]

・Please check if you have received the “Operation Status Notification Email” at the email address registered with HafH, and follow the instructions based on the desired content below.
・Customers who booked JAL domestic flights through HafH will receive an automatic notification if the applicable conditions are met.
・Depending on the timing of the airline’s confirmation, the operation status notification email may be sent shortly before the departure date.
・Regardless of whether you have received the operation status notification email, we will handle your request based on the same conditions.

<Operation Status Notification Email>

Customers who have received the operation status confirmation email for the applicable flight will see the following guidance on the “Flight Ticket Reservation Details (e-Ticket Confirmation)” page (Only Japanese/航空券予約詳細(eチケット確認))

■ For customers who have received the operation status notification email for the applicable flight

(1) Change to any day within 3 days before or after the original scheduled departure date

1,Go to the HafH Flight Ticket Reservation page.
2,Confirm the reservation number indicated on the Reservation Details page.
3,Click “Change Flight Ticket” displayed at the bottom of the Reservation Details page (redirect to the airline’s page).

※Changes can be made online from 4 days prior to the scheduled boarding date.

※ Please refer to here for the process after being redirected to the airline’s page.

(2) Change to any day within 3 days after the original scheduled departure date up to 30 days

1.Go to the HafH Flight Ticket Reservation page.

2.Confirm the reservation number indicated on the Reservation Details page.

3.Go to HafH Concierge Chat.

4.In Chat 3, make the following request:

① Request for change related to special handling flights for JAL domestic flights on January 4

② Confirmation of receiving the flight operation information for the applicable flight

③ Reservation number of the original scheduled flight

④ Desired information for the change (flight name, date of departure)

※ Change is limited to the same route.

※ For smooth assistance, please provide up to 3 preferred options.

⑤ Name and number of passengers for the applicable flight in ②, with no changes from the original scheduled flight.

5.The HafH Concierge will confirm the conditions and availability and respond to your request. (Please note that it may take 2-3 days to respond.)

(3) Cancellation

1.Go to the HafH Flight Ticket Reservation page.

2.Click “Cancel” displayed below the relevant reservation information.

3.Refund the coins used for the corresponding reservation.

■ For customers who have not received the operation status notification email for the applicable flight

(4) Change to any day within 3 days before or after the original scheduled departure date

Note: The deadline for the procedure is “30 minutes before the scheduled departure time of the applicable reserved flight.” Please complete the procedure (including confirmation of changes or cancellations) by then.

Please note that it may take several days to confirm availability and process changes, so we recommend contacting us well in advance of your departure date.

(5) Change to any day within 3 days after the original scheduled departure date up to 30 days

2.Confirm the reservation number indicated on the Reservation Details page.

3.Go to HafH Concierge Chat.

4.In Chat 3, make the following request

① Request for change related to special handling flights for JAL domestic flights on January 4

② Confirmation that you have not received the flight operation information for the applicable flight at the current moment

③ Reservation number of the original scheduled flight

④ Desired information for the change (flight name, date of departure)

5.The HafH Concierge will confirm the conditions and availability and respond to your request.

※ Please note that it may take 2-3 days to respond.

(6) Cancellation

1.Go to the HafH Flight Ticket Reservation page.

2.Click “Cancel” for the relevant reservation information.

3.At the time of cancellation, the coins will be automatically deducted according to the normal cancellation policy.

4.Go to HafH Concierge Chat and make the following request

① Request for cancellation related to special handling flights for JAL domestic flights on January 4

② Confirmation that you have not received the flight operation information for the applicable flight at the current moment

③ Request for cancellation of the flight

④ Reservation number of the original scheduled flight

※ If the confirmation in 4 is obtained, we will proceed with the refund of the coins.

※ The process may take up to 7 days depending on the situation.

[Cancellation of HafH Accommodation Reservations]

・In the event of cancellation, please handle it yourself as a HafH member.
・Changes to reservation details are not possible, so if you wish to make changes, please cancel the reservation yourself from the reservation list page and make a new reservation with the desired details that meet the conditions. (To use JAL’s flight ticket through HafH, it is necessary to confirm the reservation for domestic accommodation that meets the various conditions.)

<How to Cancel Accommodation Reservations>

※ Cancellation is possible until the day before check-in.

If it is the day of check-in, cancellation is not possible.

If there is a flight cancellation or other circumstances on the day of accommodation, please contact the hotel to inform them that you will not be staying.

※ If the accommodation reservation is linked to an airline ticket, the airline ticket must be cancelled before cancelling the accommodation reservation.

※ We cannot handle special arrangements after the procedure deadline has passed.

※ If you have multiple reservations, you need to complete the procedure for each reservation number.

※ Handling for (2), (5), (6)

・It may take about 2-3 business days to receive a response.

・Depending on seat availability, we may not be able to accommodate your preferred change. If the deadline mentioned above has passed, we cannot provide special handling. Please contact us as soon as possible.

※ Regarding the conditions for changes: Based on the currently reserved information, you can handle the changes yourself under the following conditions (free of charge)

・Changes can be made until 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time of the original scheduled flight.

・Changes are limited to one time per applicable ticket.

・Changes are limited to the same route.

・If the scheduled departure time of the original scheduled flight has passed 30 minutes before the departure time or if JAL has made a decision regarding changes or cancellation after check-in, please contact the airport counter.

※To book JAL flights, it is necessary to confirm the reservation for domestic accommodation through HafH.
