This time, I came to DENIM HOSTEL float, located in Kojima, Okayama Prefecture, as part of HafH.
The hostel is a concept of a "stayable denim shop" operated by the denim brand "EVERY DENIM."
It was established in 2019 as the final destination after the owner traveled across the country in a camper van.
For access by train, you can go via Kojima Station or Uno Station from Okayama Station.
I took the rapid Marine Liner from Okayama Station, heading via Kojima Station.
Then, from Kojima Station, I took a bus to Oji Mountain Trailhead for about 25 minutes.
After getting off the bus and walking a little west, I could see the hostel's sign.
There are no elevators, and since you have to climb stairs, if your suitcase is heavy, it can be tough to reach the entrance.
I think the hostel staff would help if you call them, so don't hesitate to call if you are struggling.
Upon arriving at the entrance, please ring the bell.
After completing the check-in process in the common area, you will be guided to your room after walking down the hallway a little.
The room I stayed in was the "Denim Japanese Room."
As soon as I entered the room, I gasped at how beautiful it was.
The indigo walls, chairs, and carpet matched the ocean blue, creating a space that felt like a scene from a movie.
If you open the window, you can see the Seto Inland Sea in all its glory.
The deep blue sea looks different from the seas of Okinawa.
The hostel has three faces: a denim shop, a hostel, and a café.
The common area serves as a stylish café and also doubles as the check-in counter.
For dinner on the first day, I had the signature curry dish, which honestly was of very high quality, and I was surprised. It was very delicious.
The bath is reservation-based, and if you tell the staff, they will also fill the tub for you.
It’s quite spacious, so it seems fine even if you go in with family or friends.
Right in front of the hostel is the sea, so you can go out to the beach.
Seeing small islands is a sight unique to Setouchi.
When I went to the beach at sunset, the sunset was incredibly beautiful.
The nature-rich view of the Seto Inland Sea from the room is fantastic.
It’s lovely to visit with someone, but even staying alone would be very healing.
The staff is also very friendly, so feel free to strike up a conversation with them.
It's hard to express unless you actually experience it, but I can assure you that you won't be disappointed if you go.

宿舍旁邊就是王子嶽的登山口。
王子嶽是瀨戶內海國立公園指定的觀光地點。
在第二天早上的時候決定去爬一爬。
跟宿舍的工作人員詢問後，告訴我大約需要30到40分鐘。
本以為可以慢慢上去，卻突然遇到了一段非常陡峭的階梯。
標示牌上寫着到九段的階梯總共有1260級。
爬到大約300階的時候，已經覺得有點累了。
經過約40分鐘勉強登頂，展現出來的是瀨戶內海的壯麗景色！
從宿舍看出去的景色和這裡的海完全不同。
觀景台旁邊有一處對於廢墟愛好者來說非常著名的王子阿爾卡迪亞度假酒店的遺跡。
這家酒店在泡沫經濟期間花費了約50億建設，但卻因為泡沫的崩潰而一次也沒使用過就成為了廢墟。
真的會有這種事嗎？會讓人懷疑呢。
第二天午餐的時候，我們去了一家「石春うどん」，距離宿舍步行17分鐘。
因為評價很好，我們選擇了從宿舍走過去。
烏冬的嚼勁十足而且份量十足。吃得飽飽的。
回宿舍的路上，正好遇到了宿舍的工作人員，順便載我回宿舍。
宿舍的工作人員都非常親切，客人當中還有人和工作人員一起吃午餐或者晚餐。
第三天在工作人員的推薦下決定去直島。
從王子嶽登山口站到宇野站的巴士不多，錯過一班就必須放棄。
到達宇野站後，還需要走大約10分鐘到宇野港。
然後從宇野港搭船約20分鐘。我們順利抵達直島。
到達直島後，租了一輛電動助力自行車出發。
直島不算大，所以即使是騎自行車只要有電助力也能輕鬆遊覽。
我花了一整天參觀了宿舍工作人員推薦的「家計畫」與「地中美術館」。
