The concept of this hotel is being the knot that ties people together; the knot that ties people with the local area. Izu Peninsula has a lot to offer when it comes to breathtaking natural scenery. This magical place is a little off the beaten path, especially when it comes to overseas travelers, and we want more people to experience our little piece of paradise. You need more than just a few hours to truly appreciate this part of Japan, which is exactly why this guesthouse was built. 
The townscape of Shuzenji still has a lot of traditional Japanese features like historic temples, Japanese gardens, a pathway lined with bamboo that’s lit up at night, a striking red bridge, and even a hot spring for your feet located near the river. (Shuzenji Onsen is the oldest hot spring town in Izu.) Being in the center of Izu Peninsula, Shuzenji is also a convenient area to base yourself while exploring the peninsula. From Shuzenji it takes at most 40 mins to get to west Izu, 75 mins to south Izu (the tip of the peninsula), and 50 mins to east Izu. There is also a direct express bus from Tokyo to Shuzenji, which is another “knot” that ties the Izu Peninsula with the Kanto region.
