We are located in the town of Setouchi, on the southern end of Amami-Oshima.
The guesthouse is located in the most populous village, Agina, in a renovated old house with a tiled roof that was built in the 1960s.
While we hope that there is only good weather during your stay, there are still things to do on rainy weather days! When it's sunny, head down the turquoise ocean or to the river. On those rainy days, chill out inside the inn with a nice book and listen to some vinyl records. Why not have a BBQ out in the garden in the evening? Our inn is close to nature, which is perfect for recharging your batteries!
Kanri eiyōshi Shino no obanzai, a Japanese pub, is attached to the building.
The innkeeper is also an official island guide of Setouchi Town and an immigration coordinator who is certified as an interpreter guide for the Amami Islands, and is happy to give you advice on travel in Amami, or tips on migrating to the island!
*HUB a nice INN is a guesthouse renovated from an old-style house that was built in the 1960s. As it's an older style house, noise tends to resonate easily. Due to the fact that we are also located in a quiet village, please understand that there are some house rules. Please be sure to stay quiet after 10pm.
