Kawaminami Town is a treasure trove of fresh ingredients, including vegetables, meat, and seafood. Local restaurants serve dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. You can also purchase fresh produce at nearby supermarkets and farmers’ markets. Just a few minutes’ drive away, you can visit the popular surf spot Ikuragahama Beach, as well as beautiful rivers and mountains, making it easy to enjoy outdoor activities in nature. ■Facilities ・The hostel features an on-site bar, “Standing Bar LEASH,” where you can enjoy dishes made with local ingredients, Kyushu’s regional sake, and craft beers from across Japan. (Paid) Hours: 17:00–23:00 Closed: Sundays and Mondays ・Guests can use the shared lounge, kitchen, and workspace free of charge. ・The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils such as frying pans and dishes, as well as a refrigerator, rice cooker, microwave, toaster, and electric kettle. ・Free parking is available. The parking area is located in the basement of the building. ・An outdoor water tap is available for washing surf wetsuits, fishing gear, etc. A clothesline is also provided for drying wetsuits and similar items. * There is no washing machine on-site. A nearby coin laundry is available. ■Rooms ・We offer both dormitory-style shared rooms and private rooms. Dormitory rooms are mixed-gender. The beds are originally designed with privacy in mind, making them comfortable even for first-time hostel guests. Each bed is equipped with a power outlet and a reading light. * Toilets and showers are shared.
