A small multifunctional facility that was born to create discoveries and stimulations in daily life through people, food, and things, opened on the second floor of HIROSAKI ORANDO.

A gathering place for interesting people, aiming to create circulation among them. HIROSAKI ORANDO, located in Hyakkoku-cho, Hirosaki City, Aomori, opened in April 2019 as a "place to support everyone's beginnings." This small multifunctional facility serves as a space for people from various backgrounds to meet, take action, and support each other, featuring a café bar, event space, gallery, and guesthouse. At "Orando Second Floor," we have adopted the concept of "apple crates." ■ Facility Details Shared Areas: WiFi, shared kitchen, shared shower, shared toilet, powder room, hairdryer, microwave, electric kettle. ■ Room Details Mixed Dormitory in Apple Crates: Experience sleeping inside an "apple crate." In the Tsugaru region where Hirosaki is located, harvested apples are still packed in wooden crates for market shipment to shops and homes. For over 100 years, apple crates have played a significant role in connecting people through apples. The mixed dormitory features bunk beds made from used apple crates, designed by Hirosaki-born architect Manabu Arizuka. Women's Dormitory: A recommended women's dormitory for female travelers visiting Hirosaki. The beds are named after large apples and Mutsu variety apples. Additionally, the women's area on the second floor of Orando provides amenities that women will love, including Muji skincare products, cotton, and cotton swabs. Japanese-style Dormitory: Enjoy a private space within the guesthouse in this Japanese-style dormitory. The Japanese-style dormitory consists of two rooms separated by sliding doors, so if there are other guests in the next room, you may hear sounds from there. Please be advised that the dormitory is shared, and there are no private bathrooms in the room; you will need to use the shared shower room and toilet. ■ Important Notes Late check-ins after 21:00 cannot generally be accommodated, so please be aware. If unforeseen circumstances cause a delay in your arrival on the day, please let us know in advance. A lodging tax of 200 yen per person per night will be charged for stays from December 1, 2025, onward.
