This exquisite resort offers a rich space blessed with abundant seafood from the vast panorama of the Okhotsk Sea, as well as natural hot springs. Since its opening in 1960, we aim to provide our guests with unique experiences that can only be found here, inheriting our traditional hospitality. ■About the Rooms 【Annex Japanese Modern Twin】 Includes western-style rooms (twin and triple) in the oldest guest room building at our facility. While somewhat removed from the dining area and public spaces, you can enjoy an affordable stay. 【Main Building Sea View Twin】 Renovated on January 29, 2019. You can enjoy the grand scenery of the Okhotsk Sea through the large single pane window. 【Okhotsk Club Open-Air DX Twin】 A modern guest room overlooking Utoro Port. Indulge in the luxurious moment of doing nothing while savoring the breathtaking view of the Okhotsk Sea and the sounds of seabirds. The outdoor hot spring bath on the terrace offers an unparalleled sense of openness, as if you are immersed in the Okhotsk Sea. In summer, you can relax on the terrace, and in autumn and winter, enjoy a special time swaying in a rocking chair by the warmth of the fireplace. ■Exquisite Sauna, Cold Bath, and Outdoor Bathing From the windows that frame the mountains of Shiretoko and the scenery of the Okhotsk Sea, you can see drifting ice in winter, which is rarely seen anywhere in the world. The sauna space features two types: 【KAKUUNA】 inspired by drifting ice and 【UNEUNA】 inspired by wooden caves. The cold bath is 90 cm deep. In winter it is single-digit temperature, while in summer a chiller system operates to invigorate your body. The rooftop space offers an outdoor area 【UMISORA】 where you can feel the sea and sky of the Okhotsk naked. If the weather is nice, you may encounter the Milky Way or shooting stars. Experience the ultimate relaxation (totonoi) in Shiretoko. Ranked 2nd in the country at SAUNACHELIN 2021. ■All-Inclusive At the lounge with a view of the Okhotsk Sea and the drifting ice terrace, you can enjoy drinks and snacks for free as much as you like! If you wish to have breakfast, an additional 4,400 yen (tax included) per person. For dinner, an additional 13,200 yen (tax included) per person. If you wish, please contact us in advance and pay on-site. Please note that if meal seating is fully booked, we may have to decline your request. As of April 1, 2026, the following rates will apply: For breakfast, an additional 5,500 yen (tax included) per person. Access
Kitakobushi Shiretoko is located in the eastern part of Hokkaido. Access is available from Tokyo via the nearby Memanbetsu Airport.
Transportation access: 50 minutes by bus from JR Shiretoko Shari Station, and a 5-minute walk from Utoro Onsen Bus Terminal.
