We booked a standard twin room through HafH, and the room assigned to us was on the second floor of the main building. Upon entering the room, there was a big window making the space feel open, with two single beds and a seating area. We were lucky to have a view of the World Heritage site, Heijo Palace Ruins, and we enjoyed the fresh greenery by keeping the curtains open during our stay.
The bathroom in the room was a unit bath, but since there was a large communal onsen, we didn’t use it. The fridge was empty, but just the right size to store any items we bought. Amenities were standard; you could pick up a yukata from the shelf in front of the front desk. The choice of yukata patterns was nice as you could choose your favorite.

【Dinner】
Dinner is served in the restaurant on the first floor, and I liked that I could choose from times starting at 5 PM in 15-minute intervals.
The meals included in HafH's two-meal plan featured a Japanese course using seasonal ingredients. There were eight dishes from appetizer to dessert, which was plenty! It presented local ingredients like Nara's persimmon sea bream, Yamato greens, Yamato pork, and Miwa somen, showing a good impression. The Yamatoniku chicken plum wine hot pot was especially delicious.
We stayed for two nights, and every day had different menus served to us.
There are also many paid additional dishes available to order. We ordered the mountain vegetable tempura for 1,500 yen, and it included seven varieties of fresh mountain vegetables, which was very satisfying! Although there were fewer options, you could enjoy local specialties like "Noppe" from Nara, Nara pickles, tea porridge, Miwa somen, and miso soup made with Nara miso. Particularly, the Kansai-style chicken sukiyaki and the sea bream "Kame no I-zuke" mountain yam were delicious.
The Kame no I Hotel Nara has a calm ambiance where you can relax. With the World Heritage site, Heijo Palace Ruins right next door, the morning and evening walks are delightful. Having two meals included is rare at HafH, so consider making a reservation!

우리는 '카메노이 호텔 나라'를 JAL 비행기 티켓과 함께 HafH에서 예약했습니다! 나라에는 세계유산이 많이 있어서 2박을 했지만, 그래도 시간이 부족했습니다.
여기서는 우리가 실제로 가서 좋았던 '카메노이 호텔 나라' 근처의 추천 장소를 소개합니다.
여행의 첫날은 이타미 공항에 11시에 도착하여 공항 버스를 타고 나라 시내로 이동했습니다. 공항 리무진 버스를 이용해 호텔 근처의 버스 정류장인 '긴테츠 야마토니시다이바시역'까지 약 50분 정도 걸렸고, 버스 정류장에서 호텔까지는 도보 15분으로 쉬웠습니다!
시간이 맞으면 호텔의 셔틀버스도 동일한 역에서 출발하니 사전 예약해서 부탁하는 것을 추천합니다. 또한 이타미 공항에서 나라로 가는 리무진 버스는 배차가 적으니 주의하세요! 우리도 대기 시간이 있어 공항에서 점심을 먹었습니다〜.
【세계유산 평성궁터】
호텔 바로 옆에 있는 국립 평성궁터 역사공원은 무료로 입장할 수 있어 쉽게 방문할 수 있는 세계유산입니다. 우리는 첫날 호텔에 짐을 맡기고 즐겼습니다.
공원 내에는 복원된 평성경의 정문 '주작문'과 견당선, VR 시어터, 판매점과 레스토랑도 있어서 볼거리가 많습니다. 자전거 대여도 인기가 많았습니다. 밤에는 조명도 켜져 있어서 호텔의 최상층에서 아름답게 볼 수 있습니다.
【나라공원 사슴】
두 번째 날은 주작문 광장에서 노선버스를 타고 동대사로 이동했습니다. 나라공원과 떨어진 나라역 근처에서 도로 한가운데 사슴 5마리가 걸어가고 있어 깜짝 놀랐습니다! 자동차와 버스도 질서를 지키며 혼란없이 운행되고 있어서, 나라에서는 당연한 것 같더군요…

큰 대불의 얼굴은 온화하고 마음이 편안해졌습니다. 대불전은 유료지만 볼 가치는 있습니다! 또 다른 추천지는 '니가츠도'로, 높은 곳에 세워진 무대에서는 나라 시내를 한눈에 볼 수 있는 멋진 전망이 있습니다.
【오믈렛 전문점 쌍바드】
쌍바드는 긴테츠 나라역 근처에 있는 창작 오믈렛의 인기 가게입니다. 우리는 13시가 지나서 줄을 서기 시작했고, 8팀이 대기 중이라서 1시간 정도 기다렸습니다…

우리는 가쓰우리에 말차 세트와 와라비 모찌를 즐겼습니다. 갓 만든 와라비 모찌는 젓가락으로 들 수 없을 정도로 부드럽고 녹아버렸습니다! 이런 건 처음이었습니다!!
