“Hotel the Lutheran” 1 minute walk from Tanimachi 4-chome Station. Perfect for sightseeing or work.

Hello, this is the HafH Ambassador “Cafe Photography Class.”
This time, I stayed for one night at Hotel The Lutheran in Tanimachi 4-chome, Osaka.
The hotel is located in a convenient area, making it a great base for sightseeing in Osaka. For this stay, I chose it as a place to relax and work on my own.
In this article, I’ll share my impressions after staying there, including the comfort, service, and overall experience.
If you’re traveling solo or planning a sightseeing trip to Osaka, I hope this review will help you decide whether this hotel might be a good fit for you.
Just a minute’s walk from the nearest station. Easy access is an attraction.

Hotel The Lutheran is an attractive hotel with excellent access, just a one-minute walk from Tanimachi 4-Chome Station.
It’s easy to get to Osaka Castle and other major areas of the city, making it a convenient base for sightseeing. There are plenty of restaurants and a 7-Eleven nearby, so you won’t have any trouble eating out or grabbing a quick bite.
Smooth check-in. A welcome drink is provided!

The staff are all polite and check-in is smooth, so you’ll feel at ease even if it’s your first time staying here.

The first thing that made me happy when I entered the lobby was the welcome drink service. In addition to coffee and tea, canned juice was also available, and you could take it to your room.
Choose from “CANADA DRY” or “Mixed Juice,” which originated in Osaka, and it’s the perfect drink to revitalize you after traveling.
Quiet and calm atmosphere inside the building

The entire building is quiet and has a calm atmosphere.

The facilities are minimal but well equipped.
Facilities include:
Amenity corner / ice machine / microwave / trouser press / coin laundry / foreign currency exchange machine, etc.
A room where you can spend your time relaxing, perfect for workation

The interior has a slightly old-fashioned feel, but it creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
Thanks to its location, the hotel is very quiet, making it a perfect place to unwind. The red chairs add a lovely accent to the space.

The spacious desk was perfect for my workation stay and made it easy to stay productive.
As for the view, I stayed on the top (10th) floor. However, my room happened to face ongoing exterior construction, so the view wasn’t ideal this time. Maybe I’ll have better luck next time!
Enjoy Osaka Specialties! A Wide Variety of Buffet Options

Breakfast is served buffet-style, and what impressed me most was the selection of Osaka specialties, including kushikatsu and takoyaki.
Whenever I visit Osaka, I find myself craving its iconic flavors, and this restaurant lets you enjoy them to your heart’s content right from the morning.

Of course, there was a wide variety of dishes, including classic Japanese and Western options as well as fresh farm-style salads. The selection was well-balanced, making it enjoyable for guests of all ages and preferences.

The venue was spacious and clean, and even several large families were able to relax and enjoy their time comfortably.
Osaka Castle is also nearby, making it easy to stop by after check-out and enjoy a leisurely stroll around the area.

After checking out, you can take a stroll around Osaka Castle, or head to the nearby “nanoniwa,” a shopping mall integrated into the park, for a cafe experience.

By the way, I had some work to do after my stay, so I looked up a hidden cafe on Google Maps and went in.
The shop is called “Hue Coffee Roaster.”
It’s tucked away just off the main street. The café is equipped with power outlets and Wi-Fi, and there’s plenty of seating, so I was able to work very comfortably.
