Since it is located close to the final point of the 53rd order of the Tokaido, the theme is "Hatago" in the post town. The room facing the outer periphery is equipped with a window that opens as wide as possible, and a scene of sitting by the window and looking at the city of Kyoto is also produced. The central room is positioned as a remote area, with a tsubo garden and a courtyard, so you can enjoy the scenery of the booth and the hall adjacent. The materials used in the building are wood and concrete, cloth and tile, and are expressions that fuse soft and hard, traditional and modern. The sensibilities of creators such as landscaping and art are added to it, and we are also trying to create a space that can be interpreted in a variety of ways. For guests from all over the world, we invite you to experience the "new Kyoto" and enjoy the scenery of the four seasons.
