Our walk around Ginza started with a tour with Ambassador of Buzz (AOB Community Manager) and lyf Guard (lyf staff).👟
Immediately after checking in, the AOB & lyf guards will take you on a mini tour around the hotel.
Ginza has an image of being an “upscale town,” but in fact there are many reasonably priced privately owned shops, making the town surprisingly friendly. Furthermore, the area is dotted with lush, tree-lined streets and parks, making it perfect for walking or running.
As I walked while listening to such stories, I arrived at──

Ya Kun Kaya Toast Tokyo International Forum is a cafe where you can enjoy the local Singaporean food “kaya sandwich,” in honor of the lyf brand’s roots in Singapore.
Kaya sandwich is a classic Singaporean breakfast, consisting of bread filled with kaya jam made from coconut milk, eggs, and pandan leaves, and butter.Following the authentic style, it is enjoyed by dipping it in a soft-boiled egg and special sauce.I experienced it!

The sweet and fragrant kaya jam is mixed with runny eggs and a salty sauce for a simple yet addictive taste. It’s like experiencing a morning in a foreign country, even in Ginza, and it brought a smile to the faces of all the HafH ambassadors!

There are as many ways to spend your time as there are solo travelers! Introducing some real-life examples from HafH ambassadors
After the tour, each HafH ambassador enjoyed their own solo travels. Based at lyf Ginza Tokyo, the ambassadors spent their time as they pleased. This article introduces some of their experiences.
Surprisingly, Ginza is the perfect place for solo travelers
The HafH ambassador decided to enjoy some time alone at BLESS COFFEE, a cafe located right next to the hotel. Run by a friendly owner, the cafe warmly welcomes you even if you’re alone, making you feel so comfortable you’d never guess you’d just dropped in.
There are both counter seats and table seats, so you can relax and enjoy your time here.

The ice cream and scone set I had here was absolutely delicious. While businessmen in suits were bustling about, I was able to relax and enjoy my coffee and sweets, which somehow felt like a luxury with a hint of immorality.

However, with the help of coffee, I felt like “I’ll try my best too” and did a little reading or studying. It was a place where time passed quietly.
There are also many independently run cafes and delicious lunch restaurants scattered around the area, and everywhere you look you’ll find yourself wondering, “Where should I go next?” and wanting to explore Ginza again.

I’m alone, but I’m not alone. I feel extremely comfortable! lyf gives me just the right amount of distance
Since you’re staying here, why not leave your room and enjoy some social time?spaceI tried to spend more time there.
lyf has shared areas that anyone can use freely, such as a coworking space, lounge, and kitchen, all of which have an atmosphere that makes it easy to feel at home even when you’re alone.
Some people were reading in the cafe, some were working on their computers, and some were just spacing out. Guests in pairs and those traveling alone were all quietly enjoying their time, and a gentle atmosphere of “you don’t have to be careful of anyone, but you’re somehow connected” permeated the entire space.

I didn’t have any deep interactions with the other guests, like hitting it off and going out to eat, but I did exchange greetings with people nearby, or have casual conversations in English with guests from overseas at a cafe, and these small interactions have stayed with me more than I expected.
There’s no pressure to talk to someone like in a guesthouse, but you don’t feel like you’re completely shut up by yourself either. This feeling of gently affirming “being alone” is the unique charm of lyf.Comfortably share the same space with others at your own paceI can—I was able to enjoy plenty of free time here.
