HIKE
415-2 Akimaru, Tamana, Kumamoto, Japan
The concept of HIKE is "a place where everyone can gather and talk”. We are a hostel and cafe/bar that serves as a base for local exchange.
HIKE is a reconstructed 41-year-old reinforced concrete complex built in Takase, Tamana City; a city in Kumamoto that has prospered in trade since ancient times. In addition to the hostel, there is a cafe and restaurant that uses seasonal ingredients produced locally, as well as a store, Tashron, that offers a collection of handcrafted items. There is a shared kitchen on the 2nd floor that's only for guests, making us a great long-term stay option. Just outside the entrance of the building, you'll find Takase Urakawa Brink Green Park and Takase Meganebashi Bridge.Rooms
