We are a community creating a new kind of village. Each of us has left the city to live closer to nature. It is a place where you can work online just as you normally would, while also enjoying the outdoors—hiking up Mt. Kurakake right in front of us, exploring the forest, experiencing farm work, swimming in the river, or soaking in nearby hot springs. Make new friends, share meals and laughter, and feel a lifestyle different from the everyday. Our story has only just begun. TAKIGAHARA CRAFT AND STAY is a renovated 100-year-old traditional house, transformed into a paradise for design lovers. The space is filled with furniture by Zaha Hadid, Achille Castiglioni, Eero Saarinen, Jasper Morrison, and others. On the grounds, a craft workshop is home to local artisans who turn wood and create lacquerware. ■ TAKIGAHARA CAFE At the adjoining TAKIGAHARA CAFE, you can enjoy international cuisine made with seasonal local ingredients. Opening Hours: 10:30–18:00 Closed: Tuesdays ■ Reception Hours: 9:00–17:00 ■ Check-In / Check-Out Check-In: 15:00 Check-Out: 10:00 ■ Breakfast Breakfast is not included in HafH plan. If you would like breakfast, please inform us by email or phone at least 2 days prior to your stay. (Breakfast fee: 1,500 JPY per person) ■ Shuttle Service (1,000 JPY per person) If you would like to use the shuttle, please contact us by the day before.
