Just Sleep Taipei Ximending

The room was compact, but there was space to spread out my suitcase on the stand.
It's very close to Ximen, within walking distance.
I didn't expect much from the breakfast, but it was delicious and changed daily. There’s also a coin laundry, and I could buy detergent.
The front desk staff were kind, making this a hotel I'd love to stay at again.

Affordable Hotel with Breakfast Included

The room was clean, and the hotel has the best location. On the first floor of the hotel is a Sanrio-themed 7-Eleven, and there are many massage shops and great restaurants around, making it enjoyable at night too. Plus, they offered complimentary welcome drinks, snacks, and breakfast! There was yuzu tea available, which I appreciated as someone who isn’t fond of coffee. There's also a kaleidoscopic square where you can take Instagram-worthy photos. The staff was kind, making it a comforting place to return to. There’s a coin laundry available for a fee!

Best Location Ever 😆

The location is very convenient, about a 5-minute walk from Ximen Station.
Access to Taipei Station is excellent, making it easy to travel by train, and it was also close to the meeting point for the Jiufen tour.

There is a free lounge where you can enjoy coffee or tea anytime, and snack times made it easy to take a break between sightseeing. Additionally, they had board games available at certain times, so while adults rested, kids could stay entertained.

The rooms were very stylish, clean, and comfortable. There was plenty of space to place bags, which was helpful for organizing souvenirs and suitcases.

The hotel had amenities not commonly found in international hotels, like a coin laundry (detergent can be bought at the front desk), and there was a 7-Eleven on the first floor, making it a safe and comforting place for first-time international travelers.

Convenient Hotel with Breakfast, Ideal for First-time International Travelers!

The nearest station is Ximen Station, but you can also walk from Taipei Main Station. 
I arrived at Taipei Main Station from Taoyuan International Airport by MRT and then walked over. 
You can relax in the lounge next to the front desk. 
The lounge serves as the breakfast area in the morning. Honestly, I have a lot of dislikes when it comes to Taiwanese food, but the breakfast was delicious. 
There are convenience stores on the first floor of the building where the hotel is located and nearby, making it convenient.

A conveniently located hotel near the station, perfect for travel! After having fun in Ximen, it's great to return quickly!
I booked a twin room, and the beds were arranged vertically, making the room feel spacious.
The cleanliness was also on point!
One highlight is the breakfast!
It's a compact buffet style, and they offer not only the usual options but also sometimes beef noodles, which were incredibly delicious!!!

Affordable, Convenient Hotel Near the Station!

First of all, the breakfast included is a big plus.
The room was very comfortable, and the sofa near our feet was very convenient!
I wondered if there could be a better location than this. Everything you need is within walking distance, and there’s a convenience store almost right below. For those worried about meals, there's a Sushi Rollo nearby. There's also an Animate with a rich selection of Asian comic goods.
The bus stop and subway are right nearby, so I had no trouble getting around and could quickly return to the hotel after exploring Ximending at night.

Breakfast Included! Close to Ximending, Bus Stops, and Subway!

Just a short walk from Ximen Station, it's the most designer-like hotel in Ximen, located around the back of Sushiro. The elevators only work if you touch the room key, which ensures good security.

I thought it was impressive that the laundry room is free to use, but the washing machines and dryers are small and there aren’t many of them, leading to a bit of a scramble for them. It’s fine for doing about two T-shirts and one pair of jeans; they are practically toy-sized. It's better not to load them with too much laundry like you would at home. Especially, the dryer doesn’t dry well. There's a coin laundry in the back which is more relaxed and fun to use, giving that overseas feel.

Breakfast is buffet-style. In addition to the staples like bread and scrambled eggs, there were a few Taiwanese dishes as well. I was pleasantly surprised to find quinoa and olives in the salad. The juice was on the sweeter side.

City Hotel with Morning Buffet (But the Water Facilities...)

Near Ximen, the location was excellent with a convenience store on the first floor.
It faced the main street, and crossing the large traffic signal got you right into the bustling Ximen area.
All the staff were friendly, and having a laundry room on the same floor as the front desk was convenient.
There were many varieties for breakfast, and they had options that my child could eat, which was a help.
There are no pictures, but in the free space next to the front desk, there were free drinks, snacks, and some board games, and my 8-year-old daughter loved that space.
The room's air conditioning was cold, and even with the temperature raised, it was still chilly, which was a downside, but the location, cleanliness, and service were all very good, so I would like to use it again when I visit Taiwan.

Want to Stay Again

Ximen Station has a bus stop where many buses stop, making it convenient to go anywhere. There is also a bus stop for Jiufen.
The room was easy to use, and I was able to spread out my luggage, plus the bed was comfortable, and I had a good sleep.
The lounge was very cozy, and I was happy with the free snacks and drinks. However, the air conditioning was very strong, so I needed a jacket to stay for a long time.
I was planning to stay for three nights, but due to the flight cancellation, I booked an additional day and was grateful to be allowed to stay in the same room!

[Taipei] Convenient Location for My Second Stay ⭐︎

I had previously avoided a place named Just Sleep, but after a very comfortable stay six months ago in Kaohsiung, I decided to choose this one again.

Pros:
- The staff was always friendly and kind.
- The lobby and rooms are spacious and well-designed. I had more than five boxes and a couple of suitcases, but I didn’t feel inconvenienced at all.
- Laundry facilities were free except for detergent, which was only 10 NTD (about 50 yen). Of course, there was a dryer available, which was also free.
- There were three elevators, so I didn’t have to wait much.
- It's in a lively area, right next to a 7-Eleven and close to the bustling shopping district in front of the station.

Things I’d like to see improved:
- Since there are many Japanese guests, it would be great to have someone who speaks Japanese at the front desk.
- The view was limited, with only a window leading to a mysterious hallway, which felt a bit claustrophobic. (But to be fair, hotels in this price range in Ximen might generally be like this.)
- The breakfast variety was limited. It would be nice to have a bit more seasonal fruit and desserts.
- The lobby is open from 3 PM to midnight but the air conditioning was so strong that it was extremely cold.
- The lighting at the sink did not work well for makeup, and since no natural light came in, I ended up wandering around the room with a handheld mirror, which wasted time. Bringing an LED mirror would be better.

Overall, I was satisfied and would love to stay again!

The room is spacious, stylish, and comfortable♪

I stayed with my kids. The twin room was long and spacious, like an eel's sleeping place! You can see Ximen from the large window! The separate toilet and shower were very comfortable. There are photogenic rooms called Kaleidoscope Room, a kids' room, and a gym, making exploring the hotel fun! I'm really happy that the washing and drying machines are free (I heard that detergent needs to be purchased, so I brought my own). The breakfast was delicious, and snacks and drinks were available in the lobby at all other times.
One thing to note is that there is no changing area for the shower, so it's direct from the room, haha. If you're with someone you're comfortable with, it shouldn't be an issue.
Overall, it was a fun hotel experience! ^_^

Great Location◎Breakfast◎Free Laundry◎Spacious and Fun Room!

I visited this hotel in Taiwan, which has the highest ratings and many reviews, during the three-day weekend in September.

With great reviews and affordable prices, I had high expectations before my arrival!

First, in terms of accessibility, it was quite good.
It's near Ximen Station, referred to as the Shibuya of Taiwan. It's also close to the underground passage exit, so you can go without worrying about rain or heat. Additionally, it's a 15-minute walk to Taipei Station, making it a perfect place to explore the city.

Upon checking in, the front desk staff were very pleasant, and the lounge was incredibly convenient! During this trip, I visited Tian Tian Li, famous for its Lu Rou Fan (braised pork rice) in Ximen, and it was so delicious that I went there twice, even though the lines were impressive; we opted for takeout and enjoyed our meal in the lounge. It's only about a five-minute walk from Tian Tian Li to the hotel, so we could enjoy our food while hot, plus tea was unlimited! Considering that waiting in line could take over an hour, takeout only took five minutes, so those visiting should definitely take advantage of that!

As for my positive experience, there were a few things that caught my attention regarding the room.
First, the initial impression upon entering the room was that it was clean and spacious.
However, while spending time in the room, I noticed the following:

1. No windows!
Upon closer inspection, the window was covered by a shade, and lifting it revealed that outside was just a corridor (where people typically won't pass).
Thus, we couldn't see the night view, and it felt closed off. Upon looking at the hotel's exterior, it seemed there are rooms with and without windows, and we apparently got one without.

2. The toilet lacks a lock.

3. No changing space.
There’s no door to the room, so you have to shower fully open! Laughs

Regarding points 2 and 3, even as a seasoned couple, we felt a bit embarrassed.

Therefore, while all the reviews were very positive, I felt it was necessary to mention these aspects.

Nonetheless, my conclusion is that, despite these issues, it is an overall excellent hotel.
Price: Excellent, Convenience: Good, Breakfast: Excellent, Lounge: Convenient, Service: Good.
I would love to consider staying here again when I return to Taiwan.

Not Perfect, But Overall Rating is Excellent

We stayed in a room for 4 people: 2 adults and 4 children (2 elementary school kids and 2 preschoolers).
It's located right at Ximen, just one station away from Taipei Station, close to the station and very clean! The free laundry is available 24/7 with plenty of machines, and the café space is well-equipped. There's even a kids' space.
There are many delicious local restaurants near the hotel, and we took takeout to eat in our room. The large table was very convenient.
There were also about 3 foot massage places nearby where we could relax and ease our travel fatigue.
I have stayed around Taipei Station and Taipei 101 during my travels in Taiwan, but in terms of both the base for sightseeing and nearby shops, this place had the best location!

Perfect for Families! Excellent Location!!

It is right at the exit of Ximen Station in the bustling area. From Taoyuan Airport, it is about a 10-minute walk from Taipei Station, easily accessible with a suitcase on the pavement. On the first floor, there is a convenient Sanrio collaboration convenience store. The front desk is on the fifth floor, which also has a lounge where you can enjoy coffee and delicious unsweetened barley tea (not the sweet tea commonly found overseas) as well as snacks. Breakfast and free laundry are also on the same floor. It’s not a combined unit, so it was good that if I had something to air dry in my room, it could be separated from the dryer. The room was spacious and clean, with a larger table, and the toilet, which is separate from the shower, has a washlet. The hotel is convenient with a sense of playfulness shown everywhere and has many kind staff members.

Convenient and Comfortable Service

It's a hotel located in Ximen, which is like Shibuya in Taipei.
As the original of JustSleep, a Taiwanese brand that ranks high on HafH, the rooms are quite spacious. The beds are arranged so that they face each other, making it convenient for friends traveling together. Breakfast is included, and it's very affordable.
With hotel prices in Taipei skyrocketing, I think this place offers great value for money.

You can walk to Taipei Station, but there's a bus stop right in front, making it convenient to use the bus.

Convenient and Affordable Hotel in Taipei

This time, I used the ticket won from HafH's gacha for a trip to Taiwan, staying with children for 4 nights. Since it was overseas, I could not use the HafH messaging function, but when I inquired about bedding arrangements via hotel email, their response was very prompt and polite, making me feel secure during my stay. The location is excellent; it’s just a quick exit from the number 6 exit of the Ximen underground street (only stairs), allowing you to move almost without getting wet even in the rain. The bus stop, Zhonghua Road North Station, is also very close, making travel very convenient. There's a Seven-Eleven downstairs as well, which sells 18 beers. However, on the day we arrived, the room was very cold, and even with long sleeves, I ended up with a sore throat. The breakfast area was also quite chilly, so my family wore long sleeves throughout. However, from the second day onward, they stopped the air conditioning, allowing us to stay at a comfortable temperature. The welcome drink from 1 PM to 10 PM (drinks until midnight) and the play area for children were extremely popular, and the kids played there almost every day. Additionally, the free washing machine and dryer (you need to prepare your own detergent) were a great help for families with children. The staff spoke either English or Chinese and were very kind. This was my second time using this accommodation in seven years, and it seems that this will become our regular place to stay in Taipei.

The Best Accommodation for Families with Children!

This was our third visit to Taiwan this year with my 4-year-old daughter and my husband! Here’s the optimal solution for our family based on our long-term stay! 
I’ll include some things I found that aren’t mentioned on the official site from my stay! 

1. Access
From the airport, there are MRT, limousine buses, and taxis available, and I’ve tried all of them, but overall, I recommend MRT for its price and convenience.
MRT
From Taipei Station, it only takes 3-5 minutes to transfer to Ximending Station to get to the hotel. You can also walk from Taipei Station! Be careful during the summer as it can be tough. The fare is also cheap.
Bus and Taxi
Some areas of Taiwan have rough roads, causing even someone who usually doesn’t get car sick to feel motion sickness. If my child couldn’t walk previously, I would have used a taxi. If your child can walk, or if you’re without children, the bus route number 1961 goes directly to a nearby bus stop at a reasonable price of NT 105 for adults, making it convenient as well. (The airport bus drivers are generally gentler compared to taxi drivers.) There are fewer buses going to Ximending, so it might be good to consider changing depending on the time! 

2. Amenities
● We stayed in a superior twin room again. It was spacious enough for a couple and a toddler! It feels wider than it looks in photos. This time, as before, our room had a view of Ximending! The TV is conveniently located right before the cushion space between the beds. It’s easy to chill, eating snacks and playing with the kids.
● There’s also space for stroller storage.
● A place for leaving luggage that can also be used as benches is practical.
● The hotel features a children’s play area, a gym, and a beautifully designed room for photo opportunities.
● There’s a water refill station in the elevator hall. But they give you two bottles of water daily, so I didn’t use it.
● The hairdryer is Panasonic's nano-ion and is good.
● There’s a warm water bidet also from Panasonic!
● The shower has good water pressure! They only provide 2 types of shampoo and body soap, so if you dislike it, I recommend bringing your own. Remember to bring face wash and towels for body washing.
● Laundry is free for both washing and drying! The detergent costs 10 NT, so I brought powdered detergent from Japan! It gets crowded at night, so breakfast time is a good time to use it.

3. The good things about the hotel not mentioned on the site:
● Child-friendly! The staff were all friendly, especially to children. They gave my daughter balloon art as gifts at check-in and during breakfast!
● If you stay on Friday and Saturday, there are menus not served on weekdays during breakfast. They serve noodle items that you can make yourself! (On weekdays, mainly steamed buns are served.)
● The honeycomb (comb honey) served with breakfast is replenished daily, and fresh fruit is served in three varieties, plus yogurt drinks daily! There’s cereal, milk, bananas, melon bread, and cream-filled bread that are all easy for kids to eat. My daughter loved the cube cheese.
● In the break area in front of the front desk, you can bring your own food and drink and use the coffee maker around the clock, with 5-6 types of snacks available for all-you-can-eat from check-in time until midnight!
● They accommodated a check-in outside of regular hours with prior notification when I arrived on a late flight.
● On the day of arrival at the late flight, right next door is a 7-Eleven collaboration with Sanrio, so it was great to easily buy late-night snacks! My favorite was the sandwich that you can get grilled at the register! The Doraemon character-filled cake was delicious too! (Many popular stores in the Ximending area are open late.)
● If you let them know about any special occasions or birthdays in advance via official email, you can receive gifts like balloons or sweets.
● It was also possible to combine official reservations for long stays. You could combine anniversary bookings with gifts as well! The lucky land stay was eligible for coupons, which was also applicable.
● Many staff members can communicate in Japanese and English, making it easy to interact!
● The toys in the break area next to the check-in counter were quite fun! We had a great time with board games like soccer and land-taking games! If you search for how to play through image searches with ChatGPT or photos, it's recommended!
● The hotel is convenient for all transportation methods: MRT, bus, YouBike! The bus and YouBike stops right in front are especially recommended!
● There’s a simple slope at the hotel entrance. There are no steps from the front desk to the room entrance, so it's easy to bring a stroller directly into the room.

4. Our packing list based on booking this hotel
● Changes of clothes, laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, body wash towels, facial wash, toothbrush and toothpaste, a large bag for laundry, phone battery, SIM cards, yo-yo card, Taiwan dollars, credit cards (JCB benefits are available), makeup tools, hairbrush, clear file, kids' toys, snacks, sunscreen, stroller blanket, outerwear for everyone, hats (summer), pajamas (long-sleeved pants), insect repellent, and bite medicine.

Saving Coins to Stay Here! The Optimal Solution for a Trip to Taipei!

In April this year, I had a great experience staying as a solo business traveler. In July this year, I arranged for a family of three to stay one night in Taipei to see Mayday's concert. The location is very convenient, and it's quick to get to the Taipei Arena.
The accommodation experience was still very good, the room was very comfortable, and there was graffiti on the wall introducing delicious Ah Chung's noodles. The seventh and eighth floors' photo spots (Kaleidoscope) were also very beautiful.
The breakfast was also very high quality and delicious. Booking through the Hafh platform not only included breakfast but also allowed for a 12 PM checkout, which I really liked.

Still Wonderful on Second Visit

Excellent access to sightseeing spots in Taipei. The train, bus, and YouBike are right outside the hotel, making it very convenient.
The hotel is beautiful, offering breakfast, free laundry, and even a dryer! It has a playground for children, a gym, and even a board game corner in the lobby for fun inside the hotel.
From check-in time to late at night, you can enjoy snacks at the lounge next to the lobby as much as you like, and the coffee station is available at all times. Most importantly, the staff are all very kind to children. Children receive a balloon art gift at the time of check-in.
It's a reasonable yet fulfilling stay that reminds me of Japan's Hoshino Resorts OMO. It's a hotel under Taiwan's Regent Group, offering craft beer from the hotel brand. You experience services and hospitality above expectations.

For a birthday celebration stay, if you inform them in advance, they will provide individual balloon and candy celebration gifts.

The good thing about the Superior Family Room is the large table and bench chair, allowing us to spread out takeout from Ximen and eat leisurely in the room! My daughter's drawing and coloring time benefited greatly from the table.

For our family visiting with a stroller, it's easy to move around the hotel with no steps, getting straight to our room.

There's a Seven-Eleven collaboration with Sanrio right next to the hotel, which is convenient.

During my 8-night stay, I found that there’s a noodle corner you can make yourself on the morning after a weekend stay! 
It was a comfortable stay, even when we relaxed at the hotel!

Great Access to Indoor Facilities and Amusement Parks in Shilin Area for Families with Children!

I won tickets to Taipei through Hafh's lottery, so it was my first time in Taiwan! Thank you for the opportunity.
The hotel is located right outside exit 6 of the underground mall at Ximen Station. It takes less than 15 minutes to walk to Taipei Station on the Taoyuan MRT, so the access is perfect!
There is a coin laundry, which is appreciated for summer stays.
Breakfast is included, and in the afternoon, drinks and biscuits are available in the front area.
Although the room was a twin, it was spacious, and the children I traveled with were very happy.
