Since its opening in 1960, we aim to provide guests with unique experiences that can be found only here, through our tradition of hospitality that has been passed down through generations. ■ About the Rooms 【Annex Japanese Modern Twin】 Includes Western-style rooms (twin and triple) in the oldest building of our hotel. While it is slightly away from the dining areas and public spaces, affordable accommodation is possible. 【Main Building Sea View Twin】 Renewed on January 29, 2019. Guests can enjoy a magnificent view of the Sea of Okhotsk through large windows made of a single pane of glass. 【Okhotsk Club - Open-Air DX Twin with Bath】 A modern guest room overlooking Utoro Port. Enjoy a luxurious moment of doing nothing while savoring the stunning views of the Sea of Okhotsk and the sounds of seabirds. The open-air hot spring on the terrace offers an absolute sense of liberation, as if you are immersed in the Sea of Okhotsk. In summer, cool off on the terrace, and in autumn and winter, spend special moments swaying in a rocking chair by the warmth of the fireplace. ■ Premium Sauna, Cold Bath, and Outdoor Bathing From the windows that frame the landscapes of Shiretoko’s mountains and the Sea of Okhotsk, guests can see drifting ice in winter, which is rare in the world. There are two types of sauna rooms, 【KAKUUNA】 which is inspired by drifting ice, and 【UNEUNA】 which is inspired by a wooden cave. The cold bath is 90cm deep. In winter, the temperature is single, while in summer, the chiller system operates to tighten your body. On the rooftop, outdoor bathing space【UMISORA】 allows guests to feel the sea and sky of Okhotsk in their birthday suits. If the weather is good, you might even encounter the Milky Way or shooting stars. Experience the ultimate tranquility offered by Shiretoko. Ranked 2nd in Japan at SAUNACHELIN 2021. ■ All-Inclusive In the lounge with views of the Sea of Okhotsk and foot baths on the drifting ice terrace, you can enjoy drinks and snacks for free as much as you like! Feel free to enjoy the nature life of the World Heritage site, Shiretoko. (Some items may incur an additional charge.) ■ About Meals The HafH plan is a room-only plan. If you wish to use breakfast, it costs an additional 4,400 yen (tax included) per person. If you wish to use dinner, it costs an additional 13,200 yen (tax included) per person. If you desire these options, please contact us in advance and pay at the site. Please be aware that you may be turned away if meal seating is fully booked. From April 1, 2026, the following rates will apply: Breakfast will cost an additional 5,500 yen (tax included) per person, and dinner will remain at 13,200 yen (tax included) per person. ■ Child Rates The charge for infants aged 0 to 5 years is a facility usage fee (with meals) of 6,600 yen (tax included). We have amenities and rental equipment for children. Kita Kobushi Shiretoko is located in the east of Hokkaido. It can be accessed from Tokyo via the nearby Memanbetsu Airport.
