NIPPONIA Kosa Canal is a 130-year-old house that has been renovated and reborn as a pawnshop and tobacco shop. There are two buildings and three rooms in two separate buildings where you can see the main house with a view of the veranda along the waterway, and the tsubo garden where seasonal plants and trees live. All rooms are independent spaces, and the main image of the pawnshop is left as it is as the door and wall. Once you step outside the facility, you will be greeted by the cityscape of the nostalgic shopping street. If you walk down the street, you may be accosted by the owner of a shop on the side of the road. This town is a place where family and friends laugh face to face. Please enjoy a stay like another local who will be a resident for a few days in Kosamachi, a rural area that is a few tens of minutes by car from Kumamoto City.
